The Date

What if God truly sees you – with everything that moves you? What if his love gives you wings in that very movement?

At the upcoming mission event, we want to discover what God’s heart looks like – in the middle of a world that is constantly changing. We want to experience how Jesus speaks and works through us and in us. An event awaits you with conversations that can push boundaries, inspiring input, creative workshops and encounters that transform.

If you are curious and want to get to know Jesus more deeply, if you sense that your life can be more than everyday routines and to-dos, if you want to be part of something greater – then this is the right place for you.

Service – The Heart of Jesus
What does God’s heart beat for? God’s heart beats for relationship with us humans. God goes where there is death and wants to take up space, wants to bring life again. His love for us drove him to the cross. Kaji Ruban will take us into this topic.
Seminar 1 – The Heart of Jesus for the World
What is God doing globally? How do we deal with world events (war, famine, natural disasters)? Where and to what extent should responsibility be taken?
Seminar 2 – The Heart of Jesus is Connected to the Father
How did Jesus practically go about his daily life? What role did prayer play in his life?
Workshop 1 – The Heart of Jesus: Yes, but how?
What can I concretely do from Switzerland for Switzerland / for the world?
Workshop 2 – The Heart of Jesus in Concrete Steps
Organisational, financial, spiritual and social questions around mission service: How does a mission placement work? What is a job market? What is vocation? Building a support network, donations, social and insurance questions, etc.
Workshop 3 – The Heart of Jesus for the Unreached
The unreached? An unfulfilled mission!
Workshop 4 – The Heart of Jesus for the Church
What is the Church? How did Jesus envision community? What is the mission of the Church?
Workshop 5 – The Heart of Jesus is Faithful
Exchange of experiences among returnees and those interested in the costs of mission. Topics such as resilience, dealing with disappointments or early termination of service are addressed through storytelling.
Workshop 6 – The Heart of Jesus for One Another
How does Jesus inspire us to journey together? What can we concretely learn from him?
