Muslims all over the world fast for 30 days during Ramadan. During this time, many of them hope for revelations from God and want to understand him better. That is why we want to pray especially during this time that Jesus will reveal himself to them as Saviour and Lord, and that Muslims will come to know God as a loving heavenly Father through him.<\/p>\n

Many Muslims are also open during this time to conversations about their faith and about what our faith means to us.<\/p>\n

For more than thirty years, “30 Days of Prayer” has been informing Christians about the spiritual need among Muslims and motivating them to pray. Today, prayers are being offered in many countries around the world for these concerns. And God answers our prayers! This year, the stories centre on former Muslims who are boldly living out their faith in Jesus and sharing it with their own people or with other Muslim peoples. Some do this “full-time”, while others have remained in their workplaces and families, faithfully witnessing to Jesus there.<\/p>\n

Many have suffered persecution for their faith and their witness. We praise God that his witnesses in the Islamic world no longer come only from other countries and peoples, but that former Muslims are increasingly playing a key role in building God’s kingdom. They are God’s co-workers \u2014 and we are their co-workers through our prayers!<\/p>\n

Let us not only pray for them personally, but also storm God’s heart for their<\/strong><\/p>\n

families, their villages, towns and people groups!<\/strong><\/p>\n
